We're really pleased to announce the release of a fantastic new feature within the Sketchanet toolbox – a search facility. With it, you can index and search all pages and posts on your website, providing a very useful way for people to quickly get to the page they are looking for.

 

Here's how it looks on our Sketchanet documentation landing page:

 

 

The styling of the search box is configurable, as is the overlay and results list. Here, we performed a search for "background". In our case the results show images, but this isn't necessary - you can just have a simple list of titles / brief / content, as per your requirements.

 

Note how the search word is highlighted in the results so you know why the result is relevant.

 

Though this feature is available to all Sketchanet customers as a very reasonably priced add on, it's more likely to appeal to our users with reams of website content. Search costs an extra £5 / month on top of our standard subscription. This gives you 4000 search requests. Additional searches requests are billed in areas at a rate of £1.25 per 1000 search requests.

 

You can cancel the search facility at any time.
