What is text strikethrough

It looks like this and is often used stylistically, or for a humerous effect by implying the text is wrong and was recently deleted or marked as such.  More practically, it may be used to an edit a news post after the original text was posted online, while keeping the original content visible.

 

How to insert one 

Insert your cursor at the point you would like to insert the symbol, or highlight the character you want to change.  Select the Special Character' button at the top of the editor .  Select the character you want and click it.
